A site that works for everyone.
We want everyone on the Island to be able to use this website, whatever their abilities or the technology they rely on. This statement explains where we stand and how to reach us if something gets in your way.

Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That standard helps make websites perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for as many people as possible.
What we've done
This site is built so that you should be able to:
- Navigate the whole site using a keyboard.
- Read it with a screen reader, with meaningful headings and labels.
- Resize text up to 200% without the layout breaking or content being lost.
- Read comfortably, with colours chosen to keep a clear contrast between text and background.
- Use the site with reduced motion — animations respect your system “reduce motion” setting.
Known limitations
We are not perfect, and some content may fall short — for example, older documents or third-party tools such as the member portal and online forms, which we are working with our partners to improve. If you find a barrier we have not listed, please tell us.
Tell us about a problem
If you cannot access something on this site, or you need information in a different format such as large print or a plain-text email, contact us and we will help:
- Email info@mcu.im
- Call 619 459 on a Tuesday or Saturday, 9:45am to 2:15pm
- Visit us at Ragnall House, 18 Peel Road, Douglas, Isle of Man IM1 4LZ
A real person reads every message, and we will do our best to provide what you need.
