Joining requirements
What you'll need to prove who you are.
As an Isle of Man regulated financial provider, we have to verify every new member's identity, address and (for some products) income before we open an account. It's the same checklist every Manx bank uses.
One piece of photo ID
- Current valid passport
- National identity card
- Isle of Man driving licence
- Birth certificate (under-18s only)
One proof of address
- Recent utility bill (gas, electricity, heating oil or telephone — excluding mobile) — dated within the last 6 months
- Bank or credit-card statement — dated within the last 6 months
- Manx Government correspondence — dated within the last 6 months
Income proof (for loan applications)
- Three most recent payslips
- Most recent annual State Pension statement
- Benefit award letter from Social Security
- Letter from your employer confirming salary
How to get them to us.
- 01Online (member portal): Snap a clear photo of each document with your phone and upload in the same flow as your application. We accept JPG, PNG and PDF.
- 02In person:Bring the original documents to the office on Peel Road. We'll photocopy on the spot and hand the originals straight back.
- 03By post:Certified copies only — we don't want originals lost in the post. Copies can be certified by a lawyer, accountant, police officer, civil servant or embassy officer.
